Boston City FC will kick off the club’s 2019 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) home schedule on Saturday, May 4, at Harry Della Russo Stadium in Revere and will face several familiar foes during a 14-match campaign.
Five home matches will be played in Revere and two will take place at Hormel Stadium in Medford, where the Lions have strong ties to the local youth soccer community.
New England rivals Hartford City FC will be the first visitors to Harry Della Russo Stadium on May 4 (kickoff 7pm) a week after Boston City opens the new season away to the Colts. A run of four away matches is followed by a home clash with Greater Lowell Rough Diamonds in Revere on Sunday, May 26.
Boston City takes on the Brooklyn Italians on Saturday, June 1 at Hormel Stadium, where youngsters from Medford Youth Soccer will serve as ball kids, players escorts and honorary captains, while others will watch from the stands with their families. The Lions and Medford Youth Soccer have extended their alliance as part of the Boston City FC Youth Soccer Partner Program for a third year.
The Rhode Island Reds visit Revere on Sunday, June 9 and the famous New York Cosmos come to Hormel Stadium in Medford on Saturday, June 15. Boston City completes the regular season with two home matches at Harry Della Russo Stadium against Kingston Stockade on Sunday, June 30, and New York Athletic Club on Saturday, July 6.
